![]() Kogitsune and Jiji have the most unique dialog (colored text) I'm pretty sure, the vast majority of swords don't have unique dialog yet sadly. Some options are only available at night. If you see an option to select a cook/secretary/etc on the map, pick it, this opens up more actions at that location. Focus on dating one or two swords at first. In particular, the officers' quarters in the upper left has the "meet an officer" button. Try clicking around the map for the various actions. Click config (take a look at the config options while you're at it, in case you want to turn some content off) and then click help for the in-game manual. Normally you'd pick the saniwa but you can also pick any of the swords (in that case your MC is treated like a regular officer, though that makes more sense if you made yourself a custom MC who is a swordgirl or something.) ![]() Pick whatever on the next prompt, then you're asked to pick the master of the citadel. Let's go with Scenario 20 since it's the easiest (no strategy game, all swords.) You can make a custom MC or pick one of the premade characters: three saniwa or any of the 79 swords. If you just wanna try out the romance and lewd then pick 20 (starts with all swords in the citadel) or 21 (starts with NO swords, but you can go forge the ones you want.) If you want to try the strategy game just pick 1 or 2. You have a bunch of scenarios to pick from. There's no proper documentation for the game (although there's a small in-game manual.) The next post will be a tutorial of sorts. I'd recommend making a female saniwa initially. The games they're originally based on were meant for straight romance (male protag, female NPCs) and you can still see hints of that since the conversion was rather incomplete. I recommend using Anchor mainly because it has more config options (plus it has an english interface) but it's not very important either way. There are two exes, the original japanese emuera one and another ("Anchor") made by the western era community. You can also find the original versions of tohloveKH if you're curious (Use "era" for all files). I wouldn't recommend it over mine because it's very new, but you might wanna check it out too: There's now another version extremely similar to eratohloveKH that evolved separately from eraFGOK, called eratohloveKFZ改. Try to save regularly (there's also an autosave at the end of each turn phase, but better safe than sorry) It should have far less bugs than the base game (and it's more enjoyable), but it's continuously worked on and has only been playtested by one person so I can't promise you won't run into serious bugs. (See the changelog for a non-exhaustive list) This is a heavily modded personal version that took the base eratohloveKH game plus various patches and bugfixes and tacked on my own changes. ![]() If you're struggling in Japanese you might wanna pass on this text game. This requires a pretty decent level in Japanese, probably more than eraQueen. Mostly you just increase your relationship with the characters and have fun. ![]() ![]() Another big change is that the characters' stats level up automatically, you don't have to grind points and manage them. If you've played eraQueen you will find the ero part quite familiar, with three important additions: there's a lot of SOL romance stuff, the POV is switchable (you can get topped and even reverse-trained), and you can engage in debauchery with as many as 8 characters at once. The ero content is nukige-hard, though almost entirely selectable. The meat of the game is indulging your fantasies with the swords. It's a sort of mixed strategy/dating sim/slave trainer text game, meant to be an otome AU for Touken Ranbu (though you can certainly use it for BL.) The strategy game part is some Risk-type thing, not very interesting since it's very barebones. My apologies to that anon who wanted to try playing the era tourabu game back in June or something and I said I'd add the new swords ASAP and it's now September already. /lgbt/ - Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, & Transgender. ![]()
